Roof Repair Smedway built its Hail Damage Roof Repair division around one idea: homeowners in La Crescenta deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in La Crescenta, CA before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every lead installer holds current state licensing, so a claim adjuster, a home inspector, or your own insurance carrier can verify our credentials without a single awkward phone call.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Hail Damage Roof Repair teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Bonded, insured, and ready to show proof on the spot.
Emergency lines stay staffed through nights, weekends, and holidays.
No surprise charges once the crew is already on your roof.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
By the time water is visibly dripping into a room, the damage underneath the surface has usually been developing for a while.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Shingle edges that curl upward have usually lost flexibility, which makes them far more likely to crack or blow off in the next storm.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Even one missing shingle can let enough water through to rot the decking underneath within a single storm season.
Not every roof problem calls for the same fix, which is why we scope each job individually instead of running every call through one generic estimate.
Emergency dispatch covers downed limbs through the roof deck, storm-torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingle sections that need immediate coverage.
Residential work covers shingle repair, full re-roofs, ridge and soffit ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing — whatever the house actually needs.
We schedule commercial jobs around business hours whenever possible, minimizing disruption to tenants, staff, or foot traffic.
Replacement jobs include a detailed material walkthrough so you're choosing a system that fits your climate exposure and budget, not just whatever's on the truck.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in La Crescenta, CA.
You get a plain-language explanation of what's actually happening, not just a repair quote.
Financing and insurance-claim assistance are discussed at this stage if applicable.
Warranty documentation is provided on completion for both materials and labor.
Response windows are communicated upfront, not left as a vague "sometime this week."
We'd rather lose a job over an honest price than win one with a lowball number that grows later.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
We'd rather send a crew back for a five-minute fix than leave a customer unsure whether the job was done correctly.
We've worked with enough adjusters across La Crescenta, CA to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every Hail Damage Roof Repair project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
Material substitutions or unexpected decking damage found mid-job are always discussed with you first — we don't add line items after the fact and hope you don't notice.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Hail Damage Roof Repair crews to La Crescenta and the surrounding communities throughout La Crescenta, CA, with additional coverage available on request for properties just outside our standard radius.
Dispatch routes are planned around La Crescenta's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
